So, about that YSL mascara...

So my beloved followers on social media already know about my uncontainable excitement about the recent Vox Box Influenster* sent me. Unlike previous boxes, this one carried only one product to test, the Yves Saint-Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara. As soon as it arrived, I unboxed it, and immediately got to work testing it. 

Here's what I found: 

Pros: 

-Gorgeous and durable packaging. 

-It definitely does what it says. The mascara coats the lashes making them thicker and longer (and who doesn't want thick long lashes?)

-Did I say no clumps? Yes ladies. No clumps. 

-Unlike a lot of mascaras, this one doesn't leave the lashes crispy feeling or flakes. The formula goes on smooth, dries fast, and leaves the lashes feeling soft. 

Cons: 

- As with all things high end and most things quality, the price is steep. Considering I have never paid over $10 for mascara, $30 for this one is pretty high (but it's totally worth it)

Yeah, those are my lashes with only the product on it. No falsies here.

So what's The Reclaimed verdict? This YSL mascara is virtually perfect. Seriously. I'm in love. I was looking for a problem with it and couldn't find a thing. But what I did find was my new must have mascara. 

You're going to pay for it, but it's completely worth the price due to a gorgeous product that works and works well. I say it's worth every penny.
