Tuesday Shoes Day: Simple D'Orsay Flat
I love the D'Orsay. This style of shoe is said to have originated when French Nobleman (and apparently trend setter) Count D'Orsay, who seeing the ill fitting shoes of the 19th century, cut the sides out, allowing a much better (and more comfortable) fit. While traditionally seen in a pump, the flat version of this shoe is equally as stylish, but way more comfortable than a heel while allowing more edge than the sweet ballet flat.
This had to have been the most difficult pull for me of any of the past Tuesday Shoes Days. So, instead of widdling the selections down to 5 or 10, here's 29 different variations of this chic shoe, all under 50 bucks! Have at it ladies!
