Tuesday ShoesDay: Winter Shoe Trends of 2016

This winter is really an unusual one for fashion, especially for shoes. Blame it on post Normcore culture combined with the rule of minimalism, the growing popularity of maximalism, and the current "I'll wear whatever I want" spirit within most of those who have influence over the trends, various shoes have come to the forefront.

The reign of heels are being challenged by both fancy flats and athletic shoes. Knee high boot are neck and neck with duck boots, shoes that used to be only fashionable to marsh land hunters. Suede and velvet get top picks. Lace up everything's are the epitome of chic and unusual hues.

The moral of all of these trends: do you! Pick your pair and have fun.
