Fenty is now out. Here are the best pieces and what you need to know

I have already talked to you about how revolutionary Rihanna's luxury line Fenty is. Well, the collection is finally released and to say that I am impressed is an understatement. Rihanna and team rolled out the collection by honoring a 70's Black is Beautiful campaign. I live for this fashion, Sankofa moment.

The release is not without controversy. Interestingly enough, certain folks have been appalled at the pricing of Fenty, despite it being branded and created as a luxury line. Some folks have gone so far as to demand Rihanna to adjust the prices of her luxury line, meanwhile, no one would ever think to demand this out of other celebrities with luxury brands, such as Victoria Beckham (Victoria Beckham) or Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen (The Row and Elizabeth and James).

For clarity sake, this is not Rihanna's collaboration with PUMA, nor is it her lingerie line, SavageXFenty, nor is it her beauty line, Fenty. This is FENTY, the luxury line. Think of this collection the same way you would think of Fenty's parent company, Louis Vuitton. Imagine walking into LV and demanding they lower their prices just so you can afford it.

So this "controversy" is pretty irrelevant.

Anywho, I am excited that the collection is finally out and getting so much praise and rave reviews. Here are my favorite pieces from the inaugural Fenty release.
