Let's Talk About Kindness with Jack McBrayer
I had the opportunity to interview Emmy Award-nominee, Jack McBrayer. You may know him from his role as NBC Kenneth Parcell on NBC primetime comedy 30 Rock. You may also know him from "Bob’s Burgers", "Big Mouth", "Talladega Nights", "Wreck-it Ralph", and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".
But Jack has a new Apple Original Series called “Hello Jack: The Kindness Show!” "Hello, Jack: The Kindness Show" invites preschoolers to a place where a little act of kindness can change the world. “Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show” is co-created and executive produced by Jack McBrayer and Angela C. Santomero. The series is produced by Emmy Award-winning 9 Story Media Group (“Blue’s Clues & You!,” “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”) with animation by its Oscar-nominated studio Brown Bag Films (“Doc McStuffins,” “Vampirina”).
We had an amazing conversation all about the show, why did the show feel important to do now, What is it specifically about kindness (as opposed to niceness or friendliness) that Jack values, and what parents who will be watching as well should take away from the show.
