Woman Crush Wednesday: My Top Crushes

Girls ran the world in 2015. Whether it was Serena shutting down the haters while staying so ladylike, Garance Doré creating the style guide of the year, Maya  or Tracee cracking us up, or Amandla and Zendaya shutting down cultural appropriation and racism, women have been setting the stage and running the show. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here are my favorite ladies to post about in 2015:
Amandla Stenberg

Garance Doré

Serena Williams

Zendaya Coleman

Maya Rudolph

Tracee Ellis Ross

Travel Day Wednesday

When you're stuck in a car for multiple hours at a time, the last thing you want to be is uncomfortable. But you don't have to look shlubby either. With key pieces, you can achieve both comfy and chic.

Embossed black Sperry Top Sliders, black embossed tote, and black vest elevate a grey hooded tunic and jeans and make what would be a normal travel look way more put together. Happy Wednesday loves.

Tuesday ShoesDay: Favorite picks of 2015

(Photo from We Heart It)

2015 was a great year for shoe lovers. New styles were created while trusted classics were elevated. Minimalism made it possible for fast fashion shoes to look more expensive. Sneakers became dressy. Loafers got furry. Flats and pumps were laced. And our footwear closets grew exponentially.

Yep, 2015 was a great year for shoes. Here are my favorites from the year. Happy ShoesDay!

The Holiday Run Around

The holidays are a time for family, friends, food and fun. And you need to be ready for all four of those elements at one time, much like today's look. I paired a plaid button down with simple dark wash jeans and a complementary sweater. If you cannot find a sweater to match as well, you can always go with a trusty black, grey blue or even a brown one for a dressy casual look. I finish the look with a pair of brown suede lace ups and a belt and throw in some swag with a minimalist pair of aviators to create a look that is good for whatever relaxed event or iocassion the holidays will bring you to.
