Isabel Marant for H&M and What You Need to Know

(From Isabel Marant site)

Seems these days the best way for major designers to make a splash to larger markets, they need to make their own knock offs for popular stores. We've seen it countless times with Target and various designers (I'm still loving my 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Gusset Bag). And H&M has officially gotten in on the trend with its latest collaboration release.

The fashion world is all a buzz over Thursday's release of the H&M collab with Isabel Marant. All of the fashion sites from PopSugar to The Zoe Report is putting out their top selections and having a fashionista freak out over the collection. But, I hate to admit, most of us mortals really aren't familiar with the brand. Not to worry, The Reclaimed always has your back.

Here's what you need to know:

Who: Isabel Marant is a French designer who has created beautiful looks for the likes of Beyoncé, Kate Moss and Jessica Biel. In other words, she's kind of a big deal.

Milla Jovovich and other starlets are major fans of the collection (Photo from PopSugar)

Her styling is a cacophonous blend of tribal meets rocker and as you can see below, it's a beautiful blend. ( I personally have my eye on the white tribal print sweater) Reclaimed Guys don't feel left out! She has designed some pretty interesting pieces for you as well. Check them out at your local H&M or H&M.com.

How Much: The H&M collection is much more pricy than most stuff we procure from the Swedish establishment (up to $399), but considering the design house that guarantees not only originality but quality, it could be worth the investment.

Quote: Marant says “My brand has grown slowly and organically. I took the decision to build it step by step, in order to maintain full freedom and honesty in my work.” (From the Isabel Marant site)

Pics: So maybe you're like me and you would rather see the work than fall for just the facts. Enjoy! (From the H&M site)
