One Piece, 3 Ways: The Kaleidoscope Skirt

A few weeks ago, we talked Kaleidoscopic clothes and a few of you had some questions on how to wear the print. I've chosen one skirt to show you three different ways to wear this trend as well as shared 4 insights to wearing this look with confidence.

1) Pair loud with quiet
The boldness of the Kaleidoscopic piece shouldn't be in competition with another piece (that's how clashes happen). Instead, pair your Kaleidoscopic piece with quieter pieces. They should collaborate, not clash.

2) Pick a color in the pattern and bring it out with your add ons
Monotone pieces in a color within the kaleidoscopic pattern will not only bring out the color within the pattern, but it makes this very busy pattern more polished and gives you a pulled together look.

3) Know where to go bold:
If you're going to go bold in addition to the Kaleidoscopic skirt, know where to do it. Location is everything. Choose small bold statements, like within accessories.

4) Be true to you:
Like all outfits, when using a kaleidoscopic piece, it should be in an outfit that speaks to you; your likes, your personality, your mood. Never try to make an outfit that doesn't speak to the best parts of yourself. Otherwise you're just making a mediocre copy of some other girl's outfit genius. If you like crop tops and combat boots with your kaleidoscopic skirt, then go for it! If you like it with heels and a blazer, then do it. Just be true to your sensibilities.
