Now that that crazy CEO is gone, here is what is in my Deciem cart

I have not hidden my thoughts on the mess that was Deciem.

The Tea:
Deciem is the parent company to The Ordinary, the revolutionary skincare brand the beauty blogs have been raving over. This line uses simple science to craft affordable and effective skincare has been making the beauty girls go wild online since 2016.

A few weeks ago, following a ton of erratic and strange public behavior courtesy of its CEO and Deciem founder, Brandon Truaxe, Deciem has finally decided to shutter its operations. After another in a line of unsurprising video and static posts on Instagram, Truaxe announced earlier that Deciem will suspend all of its operations, claiming that everyone in his company is guilty of "major criminal activities."

Well, the girls over at minority investor Estée Lauder disagreed. The Estée Lauder team had Truaxe removed from the Deciem board of directors and replaced by co-CEO (and once ousted by Truaxe himself) Nicola Kilner in the interim. Truaxe is also barred from even looking in the direction of Deciem's Instagram, a place he used to use as his personal platform for his weird behavior.

I call that a win.

Now that there is nothing standing between me and an entire basket of The Ordinary goodies, here are the bottles I am poppin':
"B" Oil
"...a purified form of micro-algae in a blend of squalane and oils of marula, argan, baobab, pataua, brazil nut, inca inchi, rosehip, and borage to support healthy skin defense, to enhance radiance, to quench free radicals and to help balance pro-irritant mediators."
"Buffet"
"This formula combines a comprehensive array of studied technologies to target multiple signs of aging at once."
"Rose Hip Seed Oil"
"This formulation uses 100% pure Rosehip Seed Oil that is both cold-pressed and organic. While cold-pressed extraction is complex, it preserves all of the quality of this important oil which has been shown to reduce signs of photo-aging and many other skin conditions."
