Oh Uh-Uh: The Kardashians/Jenners Stole Whole Looks

I really thought I was going to be able to go a full 365 without talking about the problematic behaviors of the Calabasas Klan, also known as the Kardashian/Jenners. Yet here we are, three very short months in and I have been alerted to their annoying attention seeking behaviors yet again.

Damn, I at least hoped we would make it to summer.

The Kardashians and Jenners have been the bane of Black Women's styles since before Kylie's complete face reconstruction (that she still denies to the eye-rolls of all of us who have seen side by side photos of her "old face" and her current one), often attempting to steal the swag of melanated women through traditional hairstyles (calling cornrows "boxer-braids" and "Bo-Derick Braids", literally taking what the industry once considered tacky and ghetto when on a Black Woman, appropriating it, and absorbing all the "glory" for being "edgy" and "cutting-edge" by that same industry.

But to steal actual outfits from one of our venerated celebrities with no acknowledgment or homage to said celebrity, as if no one would notice, proves how low they are willing to grab attention for themselves. Cue barf.

Which brings us to the point of this rant: Kim Kardashian, the reason the Kardashian family is even a thing, recently stole not one, not two, but at least 4 different looks from none other than Super Model (and Muva), Naomi Campbell. Naomi solidified her celebrity in the '90s with show-stealing looks too numerous to count and has captured the hearts of fashion lovers ever since.

As pointed out by Rashida ReneƩ (Twitter user @FuckRashida) and later pointed out by fashion police, Diet Prada, this really is not a coincidence:
Leave it to a sis to spot the foolery first.

Well, Rashida also spotted that Kim is not the only of the Calabasas Clan to bite off of Naomi's '90s style. Kylie Jenner also tried her hand at the thievery and stole the following look from Naomi:

Needless to say, without Black Women, who would the KJ's even be?

Sad to say, just because they have been caught and called out doesn't mean they are done. I'll leave this post open-ended because, well, I will more than likely have to update it soon...
