A love letter to outside
Dear Outside,
I’m writing to you to apologize for all of the things I said about you. Whether it was too cold, too hot, too many bugs, too rainy, or any of the other reasons I gave to be a hermit.
The truth is, I miss you.
I’m writing to you to apologize for all of the things I said about you. Whether it was too cold, too hot, too many bugs, too rainy, or any of the other reasons I gave to be a hermit.
The truth is, I miss you.
I miss walks, both long and short, whether on errands or to just pass the time. I miss watching the flowers bloom or the leaves fall. I miss the embrace of warm sun and dodging between fat drops of rain. I miss feeling the air on my face without worrying if there was a virus in it that could potentially harm me.
I miss you, outside. I will do my best to stay well so that when I can freely go back out, I will surely appreciate you more.

Until we meet again, your least favorite hermit:
Whit
